Doors open 5PM
Come join us for the return of Old School, New School, Blue School! With 3 different blues artists each performing their unique take on the blues, this is a blues variety show unlike any other, and one you don't want to miss!
First up: Lucius Parr!
Lucius first journeyed into the world of music at age 10 when he picked up the trombone for the school band. After graduating from high school, Lucius received a 4-year scholarship to study music, and was gifted his first guitar from his father.
Lucius's first big performance was with Etta James in 1967 at the Nite Life Club in Waco, Texas. He moved to Phoenix in 1968, and has been expanding his musical career ever since. He's opened shows for such great artists as Bobby Rush, B.B. King, Lowell Fulson, Buddy Guy, and many more.
Up next we have Isaac Ford!
Isaac Ford's musical career began at the ripe old age of 9 after discovering an interest in the guitar. He promptly fell in love with it and spent the net few years exploring the instrument, writing songs, and learning riffs by ear. When given the opportunity to join his school's orchestra, he jumped, and that's where he fell in love with the sound of the bass, learning technical and musical skills he still uses today.
Isaac and his wife moved to Arizona in 2020 with his bass and amplifier, and not much else. Since then, he's built a home studio, connected with numerous musicians throughout the Valley, and expanded his musical knowledge exponentially.
Last but certainly not least, we have Rinus Pauel, aka Rino!
A singer-songwriter, live performer, and professional guitarist from the Netherlands, Rino has played in various venues across Europe. His original music is best described as Indie-folk, with heavy influences from blues, rock, funk, jazz, and soul to resonate with all audiences.
With a backing band consisting of Jesse Weston, Aviv Silverman, and Antonio Smith, there's only FOMO if you're not here! The best music in the Valley on Thursdays happens on the Westside.
Reservations only held until start of music. Open seating, first come first served. Please arrive early. Sorry, no refunds.
